📉 Averaging (DCA) — ATR Based v7.2
💡 Averaging triggers when the option premium moves against you by (ATR Trigger × ATR-based premium move) below your average entry. Each further step's distance grows by the Step Multiplier (e.g. growth 1.0 → triggers at 1.0, 2.0, 3.0× ATR moves; growth 1.5 → 1.0, 1.5, 2.25×), so you don't keep averaging at the same level. SL/Target are recalculated from the new average entry price after every step. Manual averaging is always available via the "➕ Average Now" button on an active position — the toggle above only controls whether the algo does it for you automatically.
⚠️ Risk note: Averaging into a losing position increases capital at risk and total exposure on a single trade. It does not guarantee recovery — if the move continues against you past your max averages, the loss on the full combined quantity will be larger than on a single un-averaged position. Set Max Averages conservatively.
